The Editor is responsible for the overall quality of the journal’s content, for overseeing the review
process, and to make sure the journal is published regularly. We are planning to publish impact
online, and therefore some understanding of social and digital media might help. The Editor is
responsible for upholding the journal’s mission and scope and selecting papers that provide new,
original, and significant contributions to knowledge. The Editor selects associate editors, editorial
board members, reviewers, and any other editorial positions required in developing content for the
journal. The Editor serves as chair of the editorial board and oversees its work.
This post requires prior experience as an editor of a scientific journal. On-job training and
supervision will be provided. The candidate should be interested in mental health care in one of
the following fields: psychology, medicine, nursing, or sociology. They must have received
training in cognitive behaviour therapy. They must also be eligible for accreditation with their
respective professional College and professional licensure body. Those accredited as CBT
therapists will be given preference.
