The manager research and development will be responsible for designing, implementing and
executing research projects nationally. They will also be responsible for managing funding grants
and for the overall coordination of research activities run by PACT. Additionally, they will be
responsible for research teaching and training and will also be responsible for selecting research
committee members in consultation with the General Secretary and the president. He/ she will also
work closely with the Incharge research ethics board for research ethics board meetings.
This post requires prior experience in research activities. The candidate should be interested in
mental health care in one of the following fields: psychology, medicine, nursing, or sociology.
They must have received training in cognitive behaviour therapy. They must also be eligible for
accreditation with their respective professional College and professional licensure body. Those
accredited as CBT therapists will be given preference.
Manager Research & Development will report to the president.
